Losartan 50 mg and Therapy Center - dr. Butler
If the allergy is confirmed, then testing is carried out with other insulin preparations and the least allergenic for the patient is chosen to continue treatment.
If there is no such insulin and the local reaction is pronounced, then the dose of insulin administered in one place is reduced: the required dose is divided into several injection sites or treatment with an insulin dispenser is prescribed. With a pronounced local reaction of an immediate type, intradermal hyposensitization also helps. These treatments are usually temporary, as the local insulin allergy disappears in the coming months with continued insulin treatment.
